"We are obliged to look to the future and imagine the possibilities we can provide our learners to build capacity.  We are not living in an era of change but a change of era”, (Pope Francis) This is certainly true for Catholic Education in Australia.

Our learners will be shaping our world of tomorrow. It is vital that we support our students to become discerning, responsible, engaged, connected and capable global citizens.

What are people saying

Allowed me to gain a deeper understanding to develop student centred learning using engaging web tools.  This is especially useful in today's current climate of online home learning but also to assist students to become 21st century learners

The collective capacity and sharing of ideas is paramount to continued learning. The power of online learning is engaging and focusing students on their learning.

This learning experience was relevant to my work; the tools were accessible to my level of experience, yet the course was designed successfully to extended me beyond my entry point. The sequence of learning was effective in providing further followup ideas to extend learning if wanted.

Thanks for offering these short courses. I always learn a lot and the Moodle site allows me to return and refresh my memory or delve deeper.  I found that by using Google Chrome (and in my case a Chromebook) I can sync all the apps and extensions to my account so they are there regardless of what device I log on to.

Being able to participate in discussions with other participants as well as the sharing in the wealth of knowledge participants and our mentor had was essential in being able to gain a deeper understanding of how I could use these skills in my future teaching with my students.
